What To Do After Surgery

At CMMP Surgery Center our care does not end when you leave after your procedure.

One of the Surgery Center’s clinical staff members will contact you following your procedure. Please make sure we have a valid phone number so that we may check on your recovery status.

We do our best to explain in advance what to expect after surgery, but this will be another opportunity for us to answer any questions you may have.

You will receive written instructions for your care after surgery. These may include activity, medication, diet and rest.  Contact your physician if you have any questions, problems or pain after surgery.

Do not drive, drink alcoholic beverages, operate machinery or smoke for 24 hours following your procedure.
